I had an easy-to-average, structured sequence centered on skills evaluation and a hands-on coding task, with a recruiter who kept close contact.

Phone call with recruiter — initial discussion about my background.
Online skills/proficiency assessment — completed an assessment on a platform.
Code assessment (lightweight CLI in Python) — built a small command-line interface in Python.
Hiring manager interview + code review — reviewed my work and discussed it.
Peer interview — talked with the hiring manager and other software engineers. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that the process felt straightforward and well-supported.
