I applied for a “Hiring Day” style process that promised fast decisions, but the experience was derailed by a key no-show and then continued as a multi-round onsite.

Recruiter intro — I was told I’d do one software-engineer interview first, then if I did well I’d be invited to Hiring Day a week later.
Onsite Hiring Day — a four-round onsite event intended to lead to offers quickly; on the first round the planned software engineer didn’t show up, though I later met him. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was that despite enjoying parts of the event, logistics and professionalism issues hurt the experience.
