I went into this role knowing I was early in my learning, and the process still ran through assessment, team interview, and a longer co-coding challenge.

Recruiter screen (15–30 minutes) — discussed my background and confirmed I’d need to pass an assessment.
Assessment (50 questions in 15 minutes) — took a timed test; after passing, I progressed.
Team interview (about 1 hour) — interviewed with the team and did well despite noting limited experience.
Co-coding challenge (about 90 minutes) — scheduled a longer coding collaboration task afterward. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway was that even early-career signals were considered, but performance still had to clear each checkpoint.
