Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview with the hiring manager was relatively focused.

I was asked to code binary search in Go, and then I also went through basic system design questions.

The coding part went okay, and the discussion stayed in a reasonable scope for a first management-level technical conversation. Even so, I was rejected afterward.

I remember leaving with the feeling that I’d answered the questions cleanly enough, but the overall bar still didn’t break in my favor.
