I had an HR interview where the focus was mainly on tools and technologies.

The conversation was centered on whether I had experience with what PlayStation uses in practice—Ansible, Terraform, AWS, Java for backend work, and React for the frontend.

It felt like they wanted to verify that my background matched their day-to-day stack, not just that I could speak generally about software engineering.

I didn’t receive an offer, but the process was direct and straightforward. The part I remember most is how explicitly the interviewer tied the questions to specific technologies they rely on.
