San Mateo, CAPosted Dec 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had an onsite interview at a conference that focused on OOP concepts.

It went smoothly and honestly didn’t feel like there was much to worry about. The interviewer was good, and the questions stayed within the expected boundaries for object-oriented design and related ideas.

I didn’t get an offer, but it was still a positive experience overall because the conversation was clear and I didn’t feel blindsided by anything unusual.

The reflection I have now is that when the questions match the fundamentals and the interviewer communicates well, even a rejection feels less stressful. This one was close to that kind of experience for me.
