San Diego, CAPosted Mar 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first interview was with a manager, and it started by going through my resume and then shifting into behavior questions.

After that, I got a few general technical questions tied to the role, including JavaScript and SQL.

What stood out most was how human the conversation felt when I got stuck. I hit a snag on a JavaScript question, but the manager stayed friendly and talked through how I should approach it instead of shutting me down.

Overall, it didn’t feel like a trap or a test designed to catch mistakes. It felt like a conversation that covered both how I think and whether I understood the basics relevant to the position. I didn’t receive an offer, but the interview left me with a pretty positive
