PlayStation Software Engineer interview experience

I was asked to code binary search in Go, and the interview also included a basic system design question.

It went well in terms of communication and how the session progressed, but I still got rejected at the end. Even though I felt comfortable during the interview itself, the outcome suggested the decision wasn’t just about getting answers correct—it likely reflected overall fit and judgment across the session.

What stuck with me was that the technical part felt under control, so the rejection was disappointing mainly because it didn’t match the confidence I had walking out.
