Pinterest Software Engineer interview experience

It was a three-step process that included a screen call with the recruiter, and the expectations for the role were communicated in a way that made the next steps feel predictable.

Hearing back on decisions was also pretty quick, so the timeline didn’t drag the way it sometimes does. Even though I didn’t end up getting an offer, the overall experience felt organized enough that I always knew where I stood.

My main takeaway was that the process quality—clarity, structure, and feedback timing—was a lot better than average, even if the final decision wasn’t in my favor.
