My process started with the recruiter reach-out and a phone screen that focused mainly on my background and fit.

They asked for details about my projects and internship experiences, and we also covered salary.

The call didn’t require a camera, which made it feel simpler and less formal than a video screen. The recruiter questions themselves were the clear centerpiece here, and that stage didn’t end with me advancing.

In the end, I didn’t move past the early screen, but I appreciated that it was quick, structured, and grounded in specifics from my prior work.
