Pindrop Software Engineer interview experience

Negative

Atlanta, GAPosted Jun 2017 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My recruiter technical screen ended up being one of the worst interview experiences I’d had.

It felt like the non-technical recruiter wasn’t prepared and seemed to be looking up JavaScript questions shortly before the call.

The mismatch was obvious to me—if the interviewer couldn’t clearly follow the answers, it made the whole thing feel performative rather than meaningful. The vibe I got came off as pretentious and insincere, and after that, my outlook on the organization turned negative pretty quickly. I didn’t get an offer, and the experience itself left me feeling frustrated and put off.
