Phonepe Software Engineer interview experience

They asked questions tied to the job’s responsibilities and how I’d approach the work, and the structure was clear: I expected two technical rounds followed by one managerial round, with the possibility of a fourth depending on how things went.

I walked out of the technical sessions feeling like the questions were aligned with the role rather than random trivia. The managerial part focused more on my overall experience and how I’d work with others. Overall it felt like a clean, role-relevant interview rather than a chaotic sequence.
