The interview included a first round where the interviewer asked questions across a mix of JavaScript async behavior and front-end performance topics.

I was asked about promises and polyfills, including promise-related handling like allSettled, and I got output-based questions.

We also went into performance optimization topics, and I had to explain things like webpack and web vitals. CORS came up too, and I remember having to articulate how it works clearly rather than vaguely. The process felt average in difficulty overall, and the interviewer stayed focused on understanding, not just memorized answers. Even with those discussions, I didn’t get an offer.
