Bengaluru2021 interview · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My PhonePe SRE internship interview started through on-campus recruitment in Bengaluru, back in December 2021.

The entire process moved quickly—about two days from start to finish. The first step was an online test covering computer networks, Linux commands, cloud computing, and OS fundamentals.

The next day, the shortlisted candidates had two technical interviews, which is what ultimately led to offers. That whole stretch felt efficient: one online assessment to filter, then back-to-back technical conversations to validate the fundamentals. I cleared it and got an internship offer.
