Philips Software Engineer interview experience

Before any live interviews, I ran into psychotechnical tests.

It included a few different types of assessments—some math and some logic questions.

A part of the process involved turning the camera on as if it were an interview itself, which was honestly the worst element for me and made the testing experience feel unnecessarily stressful.

Overall it was difficult, and despite putting in the work on the tests, I didn’t get an offer. The reflection I had afterward was that even when the questions were fair, the camera-on testing setup made it harder for me to perform the way I wanted to.
