Peraton Software Engineer interview experience

There weren’t any coding questions. Instead, we kept it practical and light—one of the main checks was whether I was familiar with agile.

Then they gave me two code snippets and asked me to point out mistakes. It was more about reading and debugging what was in front of me than writing anything from scratch.

What surprised me most was how informal it felt compared to the idea of a typical tech interview. I left feeling like the goal was to see whether I could spot issues and communicate clearly, not to put me through a heavy technical gauntlet.
