I had a call with a manager and a technical lead, and a few other people were invited but didn’t end up showing up.

Despite that, the interview felt productive, and I ended up in a situation where I had a competing offer to consider.

When I told Peraton about the competing offer, they moved quickly and had their own offer ready for me about 72 hours after my interview. That timeline stood out to me because it meant the process didn’t drag once they decided.

The whole experience left me feeling like the team could be responsive and decisive. I also took away that even when the process isn’t huge or complicated, communication speed can make a big difference.
