I had a phone call with HR first.

They asked me to tell them about myself, and then they asked if I had any relatives inside the company. That last part really stood out to me, and my experience of the call didn’t feel good.

I didn’t move forward after that, and honestly what I took away was that the conversation felt off in the way it handled personal boundaries. I ended up not getting an offer, and the reflection on my side was that the process started with an uncomfortable question rather than a clear discussion of the role.
