I applied through an online job portal and got shortlisted after an email confirming my profile.

After that, I was sent a link to an online test. The test experience was basically the only stage before I was cut off, and I didn’t pass it.

What surprised me was how quickly the process moved from the shortlist to the assessment, with no additional interview steps beyond the test itself. I never reached a technical interview or discussion rounds afterward.

The result was that I didn’t get an offer, and my main takeaway was just how high the bar felt at the online-test stage compared to everything that came after for other applicants.
