I went through a shorter, more “straightforward” AE-style process, but outcomes ranged from a quick offer to being ghosted.

Recruiter screen — I started with a phone conversation focused on interest in the role, basic fit, and expectations (including mention of busy seasons and pay).
Leadership interview(s) — I met with leadership/managers in a relatively formal-but-simple follow-up (sometimes positioned as a formality if they wanted to hire me).
Outcome: In one path I received an offer quickly, but in others the main issue was lack of follow-up after interviews or after exercises—my takeaway was that speed and clarity varied a lot by recruiter and team.
