I experienced a more structured AE interview flow that combined a recruiter conversation, a personality assessment, and then director-level interviews—tougher if I wasn’t prepared.

Recruiter screen (LinkedIn/phone, with next steps) — I reviewed the role and my fit, then received links to apply and complete an assessment.
Personality assessment (Pymetrics) — I completed a behavioral “games” style assessment that informed how they guided the next interview.
Director of Sales interview (Zoom, extended) — I had a long conversation focused on my experience and how I’d approach the role.
Follow-on alignment — In this pattern, the director aimed to connect me with additional AE input to round out understanding of expectations.
