Paylocity Account Executive interview experience

United StatesPosted Jan 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I had an easy-to-follow interview timeline at first, but the overall experience felt terrible because it stretched out and then ended with a late-stage rejection.

Recruiter outreach and process continuation (months) — I was contacted and pushed to keep going for an extended period.
Final-round rejection (after multiple interviews) — After making it to the last stage, I was rejected without a fair-feeling process or clarity.

Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer; the takeaway was that late-stage decisions without timely, respectful communication create lasting distrust.
