Montclair, CAPosted Feb 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I showed up for the interview prepared to make a good impression.

I arrived about 15 minutes early, but the hiring manager wasn’t there because he said he had forgotten to reschedule. An employee took down my information anyway and told me the hiring manager would follow up the next day.

Instead of a real conversation, I got an email rejecting me the following day. It honestly felt unprofessional and caught me off guard because I had kept the appointment time and even went out of my way to be early. That experience left me frustrated more than nervous, and it made the whole process feel careless from start to finish.
