I went through a relatively standard early-screening sequence, but the process didn’t advance meaningfully once compensation expectations diverged.

Online testing — I completed SHL-type assessments before speaking to HR.
HR phone interview — I discussed my motivation and (in one case) salary expectations; when the offer band didn’t meet what I expected for my level, it became a blocker early.
Additional screening steps (in one case) — I later faced online numerical and verbal tests (with practice materials), followed by an HR call focused on motivation and background alignment. Outcome: I didn’t receive an offer, and the takeaway was that level/salary alignment was a critical gating factor.
