OTIS Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

Easy

Neutral

SingaporePosted May 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I only had two interviews, and the overall experience felt easy compared to longer, multi-round processes.

The surprising part wasn’t the questioning—it was the result: the offer came in at a level that felt like a lowball.

What made it sting was how drawn out the response time was. It took many weeks for them to get back with terms, and the package didn’t come across as competitive. The situation also seemed to point to higher turnover and a stressed environment.

No offer meeting my expectations happened here. Looking back, the process didn’t feel especially difficult, but the time lag combined with uncompetitive terms left a sour impression.
