San Francisco, CAPosted Dec 2014 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started with a phone interview and then ended up in person in San Francisco.

What stood out was how quickly the process moved into real conversations with executive sales managers who felt pretty relaxed. They were mostly focused on whether my background fit the role, and they asked questions meant to confirm that I understood the sales side of the restaurant industry and how I’d operate in that environment.

After that in-person round, I didn’t have a long chain of interviews to work through—about a week later I received an offer over the phone. Looking back, the process felt smoother than the usual multi-step format, and the focus was clearly on my prior experience
