My first step was a recruiter screening interview.

I arrived a little over 10 minutes late, and that quickly became the first thing I noticed. Later, I was told that there would also be a technical interview, but I wasn’t sure how many total interviews were ahead of me until the end.

The uncertainty around the number of rounds made the process feel a bit disjointed. I didn’t end up moving forward, but the biggest detail I remember is just how unclear the overall sequencing was.

By the time everything concluded, I couldn’t really tell where I stood, beyond knowing I didn’t get the next step.
