My interview kicked off with a recruiter call, then quickly moved into a take-home assignment that took far longer than I expected.

After that, I met with an engineer to discuss what I’d done on the take-home, and then it progressed to an onsite.

What stuck with me most was how the hiring manager came across—rude, in a way that completely changed the tone late in the process. The overall arc was already a lot—recruiter, long take-home, follow-up with engineers, then onsite—but the last interactions made it feel less professional than I thought it would be.
