My early stages didn’t include system design right away, and the first real steps felt like they were building toward it.

A recruiter reached out, then I had a 30-minute hiring manager discussion, followed by a CodeSignal coding assessment. After the coding assessment, I didn’t make it to the system design part, and the process ended without much clarity.

There were also moments where the overall structure felt like it dragged on. I had to go through multiple interview rounds—enough that it started to feel like I was doing more steps than necessary—and even after clearing several technical parts and performing well in a managerial segment, I still wasn’t selected. Feedback was either missing or not
