Okta Software Engineer interview experience

My background was in Java full-stack work, and the process fit a senior track—over ten years of experience shaped how the conversations went, and the discussions matched the kind of scope expected for that level.

The details I have are limited, but the throughline was that it was a genuine selection process for a Staff Engineer position, and I came out with an offer and acceptance. Looking back, the biggest reflection is simple: for a senior role, the process ended in a clear decision, and it matched the seniority of the work I’ve been doing.
