My interview journey had the feel of a fairly deep technical process rather than just a quick screen.

It started with an initial screening and then a technical interview that included algorithm tasks, plus going deep into projects from my CV.

After that, I moved into a pair programming round where the interviewer role-played as a project manager while another person played the part of a junior colleague. That dynamic made the coding feel less like a solo exercise and more like implementing something while being coached on requirements.

Overall it was tough enough to be described as difficult, and I didn’t end up with an offer.
