I didn’t make it past an early recruiter interaction.

I spoke with a senior talent acquisition advisor and we discussed salary expectations, and my experience soured immediately. When I shared my floor—around 140k—the interaction felt dismissive, like my compensation wasn’t being treated professionally.

I left the conversation worried because it didn’t match the candidate-experience messaging I later saw on her profile. I didn’t get invited to any further rounds, and the whole thing left me with a very negative impression not about my fit for the role, but about how the process treated me at the first touchpoint.
