NOV Software Engineer interview experience

I interviewed with engineering managers across different product groups in the Land/Offshore Rig Machinery side. Each manager took time to explain their product line, and the questions stayed focused on straightforward mechanical engineering concepts. Nothing felt like a trick.

The overall vibe was that they were trying to see how I connected with each product area and which managers were most interested in bringing me in. It felt lightweight rather than rigorous, and it matched the “very easy” difficulty I’d say the process carried.
