San Francisco, CAPosted Nov 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My experience started fine: there was a coding interview where I actively clarified requirements, asked questions, and kept communication open.

The task itself didn’t feel impossible, and I was able to finish in about half an hour, then follow up with additional questions around possible improvements and runtime analysis.

What bothered me was the interaction quality during the interview. The interviewer was very passive, giving little feedback or guidance while I worked through the problem. I ended up feeling like I had done the required corner cases—when I asked about my performance, I was told I covered everything—but the conversation didn’t really reflect that in terms of engagement.

The next day I received a rejection email
