The interview was very straightforward and centered on getting me comfortable with the company.

Everyone I spoke with was friendly, and the team seemed genuinely welcoming—especially in terms of how they treat interns.

The part that didn’t sit as well with me was the job itself. Even though the people were nice, I found the actual work to be a little obnoxious, and that made the overall impression less positive than the warmth of the environment.

By the time I finished the conversations, I could tell the company culture was a strength, but the role didn’t feel like it would fit my preferences.
