Northwestern Mutual Financial Analyst interview experience

They treated it like a role for people making a career shift, so they weren’t expecting me to already have deep financial-world experience. I had an initial call with the recruiter to get the basic picture of the advisory role, and from there I was connected with a local field director who walked through what the first year looked like.

The interviews themselves were laid-back and structured, with a sequence that began with an information session. After that, I had a simpler “get to know you” conversation focused on learning more about the position, and then I moved into a final interview.
