After I applied, they reached out quickly by email and got an interview scheduled.

The conversation moved far enough that I realized their model depended on me bringing my own book of clients, and that there wasn’t a base salary. That single detail shut down the fit for me, because I wasn’t comfortable with the commission-only structure and the expectation of already having relationships.

It felt like the process stopped once that reality became clear, even though the early communication was efficient.
