Northwestern Mutual Financial Analyst interview experience

The first conversation threw me off because the internship was presented in a way that sounded like a financial advisor intern opportunity, but the longer I reflected on it, the more it felt like they were disguising what the work really was.

Eventually, my concern solidified: it seemed less like a finance role and more like a life insurance scam structure. That realization made the whole sequence of interviews feel misleading rather than thorough. Even though there was effort put into meeting me multiple times, the experience left me frustrated and uneasy rather than impressed.
