The interview didn’t come across as very professional to me.

It felt more like a sales pitch meant to sell me on the company. During the conversation, I heard claims that I didn’t need prior financial knowledge even though the position was described as finance-related.

They also suggested they would teach everything I’d need to become an expert, which didn’t sit well with me—especially because I was studying for a finance degree and expected the role to lean on that foundation. The whole pitch-heavy tone made it feel like the interview was less about evaluating my fit and more about persuading me to join.
