The process felt easygoing and straightforward, and the recruiter was very clear about expectations.

My interview was heavy on questions about me—I answered a lot about my background and what shaped my path—so it felt like they were primarily trying to understand my story.

They also kept things transparent about pay, which removed a lot of uncertainty up front. Overall, it felt comfortable and candid rather than formal or tricky, but I still didn’t end up receiving an offer. The part that stuck with me was how much the conversation centered on me, not just the logistics of the job.
