Northwestern Mutual Financial Analyst interview experience

First, I answered email questions as an initial screen. Then I did a Zoom interview with a campus recruiter.

After that, they gave me a task, and once I completed it, I had another interview specifically to go over the work. The last step was an in-person interview. The structure felt clear, and I wasn’t left guessing what was next at any point.

What surprised me most was how manageable the task felt compared to what I’d expected—nothing felt impossibly intense. It still required time and thought, but the process stayed organized, and it never dragged out into something overwhelming.
