After an in-person meeting with the hiring manager, the interview itself felt standard and focused on common questions about my background.

I asked directly about what the timeline looked like, and they told me I’d hear back in about two weeks.

Instead, the hardest part wasn’t the questions—it was waiting. I ended up being left without any follow-up for a long stretch, and even after reaching out again, I still didn’t get clear closure. The difficulty felt average in the room, but the communication gap afterward made the whole experience drag.

I didn’t get selected. Looking back, the interview was fine, but the silence afterward was what really left a sour note.
