Nokia Software Engineer interview experience

The first step was short—under half an hour—and the interviewer made sure I felt comfortable.

After that, the next phase was a programming challenge that required installing a browser with intrusive monitoring software, which was honestly the part that felt awkward and uncomfortable. The interview itself was smooth and not time-consuming up front. I ended up getting an offer, but what I remember most wasn’t the questions—it was how the logistics of the programming challenge added friction.
