I showed up to an interview day where the structure was unusual but clear: we presented ourselves to the team in a circle, taking turns sharing personal projects, experiences, and even what we had studied.

It took about three hours total, and it was more interactive than the typical “sit and answer questions” setup.

After everyone spoke, they ran an easy technical test. It didn’t feel like a high-pressure gauntlet so much as a check that I could apply what I’d discussed earlier. I left with the impression that they valued communication and basic technical alignment over deep, tricky problem-solving.
