I attended an in-person, face-to-face interview that was surprisingly light on technical specifics.

The process was simple overall, and there weren’t deep dives into technical details.

I came in expecting something more rigorous and technical, so the lack of that depth stood out to me. It was still easy, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that the format might have shifted since many years had passed. I didn’t get an offer, and the biggest reflection I have is that my expectations didn’t match what the interview actually tested.
