I didn’t make it past the early HR stage, but the process still gave me a clear picture of how they operated.

First, I had a call that was more about scheduling and clarifying the setup and conditions.

Then I went into a longer HR interview that involved HR along with an engineering manager. The interaction was tightly focused on fit and logistics more than technical depth, and I wasn’t able to move forward from there.

Even though the whole thing didn’t last long, it felt like a gate that decided quickly. I left with the sense that I might not have aligned with what they needed at that point, and that uncertainty was frustrating since there wasn’t much opportunity to demonstrate my technical side.
