My interview was thorough and felt more demanding than the usual lightweight screening.

The technical questions covered C and C++, but they also pushed into hardware-adjacent territory like DMA and CPU concepts.

I also got asked about modern C++ ideas such as shared pointers and unique pointers, plus classic data structure concepts like FIFO and LIFO. There was a technical exercise too, so I couldn’t just rely on theory—I had to think and apply the concepts. I received an offer, and the honest part of how it felt was that it was only manageable because I had studied broadly enough to connect hardware concepts, language details, and data structures together.
