This one was for a co-op position, so the process felt simple and direct.

I had a 30-minute interview with the team’s manager.

The questions were centered on OOP principles and data structures. I didn’t see much emphasis on behavioral questions, and the conversation stayed pretty grounded in fundamentals and how I’d handled similar concepts before.

I didn’t receive an offer. The reflection I’m left with is that the interview was straightforward enough that there wasn’t much room to compensate if the answers weren’t strong, since the focus stayed narrow.
