San Francisco, CAPosted Oct 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I got a call telling me to come in for an interview, so I showed up in good faith expecting a proper conversation.

The whole experience felt off from the start—communication was basically nonexistent after that, and I didn’t get the courtesy of any follow-up or even a clear next step.

After I met them, I emailed to check in, and nothing ever came back. There wasn’t even a simple response letting me know where things stood. Honestly, it left a sour taste, especially because being asked to come in face-to-face and then going silent felt incredibly poor etiquette. I didn’t end up getting an offer, and I was relieved more than anything that I hadn’t stayed tied to a process like that.
