I interviewed on-site in a hotel conference room since they weren’t local to my area.

The phone screening beforehand had gone well, so I walked in expecting a more comfortable conversation. It didn’t really happen—this interviewer didn’t make me feel engaged or at ease, and the meeting itself didn’t feel like the right fit for either side.

By the time the process finished, it felt clear to me that I wasn’t aligning with the role or the company as represented in that stage. The difficulty was average, and I didn’t receive an offer.
